Elesia was founded in the second half of the ’80s, and specialised rapidly in the distribution and resale of high-tech electronic products for the defence market, which, together with that of security, became its reference market.

At that time, thanks to technological development and some government programs for the renewal of the entire Italian defence system, Elesia also developed its own design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, selling its hardware and software equipment dedicated to the Command and Control systems of land vehicles, naval vessels and aircrafts.

The current strategy, the vision of Elesia, is the result of the experience of the past and the attention that the company places on innovation and the use of modern technologies. The experience of the past materializes in the extraordinary knowledge of the needs on the reference markets, in the meantime grown compared to the past. The current success derives from the ability to renew itself and adapt quickly to the demand. The operational needs of users, in the reference market, have changed profoundly in recent years.
